French feminist and activist Emma, who became famous for her comic about mental load, presents another volume full of funny and biting comics. She gets to the bottom of the mechanisms behind unequal distribution of work in partnerships, takes on self-proclaimed feminist men who think they are doing everything right, and dissects the trend towards “positive” parenting. If around one in five mothers is affected by burnout, this is also due to the unattainable expectations placed on mothers and those they place on themselves. Emma exposes how influencers and parenting gurus who promote mindful parenting unsettle mothers and earn good money from it.
